Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: December 22, 2025

1. Our Commitment

VIYB Ltd, trading as Global Yacht Brokers Network, is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

2. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.

Current Status: Partially conformant. This means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, but we are actively working to address these issues.

3. Accessibility Features

Our website includes the following accessibility features:

3.1 Keyboard Navigation

  • All interactive elements can be accessed using a keyboard
  • Focus indicators are visible for keyboard users
  • Logical tab order throughout all pages
  • Skip-to-content links for main navigation

3.2 Screen Reader Support

  • Semantic HTML structure (headings, lists, landmarks)
  • Alternative text for all meaningful images
  • ARIA labels where necessary for enhanced screen reader support
  • Form fields with clear labels and error messages

3.3 Visual Design

  • Sufficient color contrast ratios (WCAG AA minimum 4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of functionality
  • Information is not conveyed by color alone
  • Responsive design works on various screen sizes and orientations

3.4 Content

  • Clear and concise language
  • Descriptive link text (no "click here" links)
  • Consistent navigation across pages
  • Page titles that describe topic or purpose

4. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some limitations may exist:

  • Complex Data Tables: Some data tables may be difficult to navigate with screen readers. We're working on improving table structure and ARIA labels.
  • Third-Party Content: Embedded content from third parties (e.g., payment processors) may not meet our accessibility standards.
  • Older Documentation: Some legacy documentation PDFs may not be fully accessible. We are gradually updating these.
  • Dynamic Content: Some dynamically loaded content may not announce changes to screen readers. We're implementing ARIA live regions to address this.

5. Assistive Technologies

Our website has been tested with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen Readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS)
